Surrounded by trees in a rural setting
Landguard Camping's peaceful and secluded touring park is just ten
minutes stroll to Shanklin Town. We welcome tents , trailer
tents , touring caravans and motorhomes .Camping is on a predominantly level
site. Each pitch is numbered , has electrical hook-up and hard road
access. Our fully tiled toilet blocks have ample hot water,
shaver points and hair dryers for use after your free shower. There
are deep sinks with hot water for clothes and dish washing.
The large outdoor heated pool, toddlers
pool and sun patio is open daily from Spring Bank Holiday until early
September. 

Also provided on the park is play equipment for the under
8's
THE BOWER offers a full an unusual
take-away Pizzeria and Brasserie service with a European flavour. In
the mornings the Patisserie serves Croissants and Danish Pastries,
Full English Breakfasts are available, and summer lunches ,
Sandwiches and filled Baguettes are made to order with a range of
"Beach Tucker" for picnics. The evening menu includes
fresh baked Pizzas, freshly griddled Skewers, Pot-Belly Jacket Potatoes,
Grandinis and our own range of Burgers. Our
desserts includes Crêpes, Waffles and Ice
Creams. We also offer a service to prepare everything for your own
BBQ, a "Specials" Menu that changes daily and an
Off-License selling Wines, Beers and Lagers. Please call in and say

by the pool is a meadow type clearing and copse where the older
children can play football etc or you can just relax and read a book
on the benches provided. The park has been awarded the David Bellamy
Gold Conservation Award for several years running. Red Squirrels
,bats, owls, voles, foxes and many different species of birds all
encouraged by nesting boxes and good food trees and bushes.
Camping reception is open daily,
stocked with information on where to go and what to see on the
island . It also provides gas refills, freezer pack service and
camping accessories.
